Presidential election in Afghanistan, the end of the Karzai years

Eight candidates are taking part in the first round of the Afghan presidential election that will decide Hamid Karzai's successor, including the three favorites Abdullah Abdullah, Zalmai Rassoul and Ashraf Ghani.
